Universal Transportation

Universal Transportation provides accessible group transportation for a variety of memorable day trips, social outings, grocery shopping, restaurant visits, community participation, seasonal tours and events.

Transportation is often a barrier that prevents many from the opportunity to enhance their independence and/or quality of life.  Unfortunately, without having accessible transportation, many older adults and people with disabilities are simply unable to join with a diverse group all requiring transportation.

 

No longer being able to drive or access a vehicle isolates many.  Public Transportation is not always a viable option for individuals in need of transportation services.  Moreover, many communities may have accessible transportation, but these vehicles are often restricted to a limited amount that can utilize this service.

    

Universal Transportation responded to this need by offering accessible coach transportation.  Our services ensure residents of varying abilities can attend traveling productions, cheer on their home team at sporting events, participate in various social activities, complete required shopping to maintain their independence, and have greater access to fully participate, increase their experiences, create memorable moments, as well as connect or re-connect to friends.

Universal Transportation operates a 37 passenger bus that can accommodate up to 5 wheel chair positions and also a 29 passenger bus with two wheelchair positions.  Both buses are in high demand for Memory Care Units and Assisted Living Communities.
